
Oughterard Courthouse is excited to host ‘NOW IS ALL THERE WAS’
A solo exhibition by Renske Boef, which will be launched this Friday 14th by the esteemed lecturer in Art History and Critical Theory and Chair of the current MA
Programme in Creative Practice at ATU, Dr. Gavin Murphy.
Renske is a Dutch artist who has been living in Oughterard for the past 25 years. In ‘NOW IS ALL THERE WAS’, Renske explores the concept of time and memory in painting, with the use of an archive of old family photographs she carried with her to Ireland.
While Renske has exhibited in many group exhibitions, this is her first Solo Exhibition and promises to be a beautiful and thought-provoking show that shouldn’t be missed.
‘NOW IS ALL THERE WAS’ will be open daily in the Courthouse, from February 14th until the 23rd , Mondays to Saturdays 11am – 5pm and Sundays from 12 – 5pm. Free entry and all are welcome. The exhibition will be launched at 7-9pm this Friday 14th and all are welcome.
