A play written and directed by Bernard Field of “Haw Theatre Company”, Bernard held drama classes in Oughterard Courthouse in the past, we are delighted to welcome him back again to the Courthouse. “Last train from Holyhead” was the last play the late great Mick Lally starred in before his untimely passing.
Two men discover more than they bargained for on an overnight train to nowhere. With the help of drink, poker and a beguiling Gypsy they encounter the truth within through the lives of each other.
